Our Team

EARTH aims to use the skills and experience of the two founding directors, Sylvie Pierce and Stephen Clarke, with successful careers in the public and proprivate sectors, regeneration, property development and financial master planning – complimented by a team of associates with a proven track record in delivering complex services.

Stephen Clarke, Director

Stephen ClarkeStephen is a chartered accountant and for the last 25 years has specialised in the financing and structuring of large scale property development and regeneration schemes.

Executive Role

EARTH was founded by Stephen in early 2010, to provide regeneration, integrated service and property advice to both the private and public sector.

Prior to establishing EARTH, Stephen was a Director of DTZ and Head of its Corporate Finance advisory team for ten years.

Non Executive Role

Stephen is a Trustee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust. The Prince's Regeneration Trust's projects enable under-used or redundant historic buildings to perform a new function, unlocking a regeneration of the wider community. The Trust works in all four parts of the United Kingdom generating a capacity to share learning and project experience.  www.princes-regeneration.org

He is Chairman of the board for The Stables.  The Stables is one of the UK’s leading live music venues and producer of the Milton Keynes International Festival. The Stable is an Arts Council National Portfolio organisation.  www.stables.org

Stephen is a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).


Amy Colver, Associate

Amy is a project manager and is responsible for the delivery of EARTH’s projects and assignments.

Executive Role

Amy trained in Architecture at the School of Architecture, Oxford Brookes University and later went on to train as a Building Surveyor at The School of Surveying, Kingston University, where she was commended for her work.

Prior to joining EARTH in 2013, Amy worked in the property and finance sectors, with a specialism in regeneration and sustainability. Roles included working as a Building Surveyor for Newham Council and Colliers CRE.

Amy’s focus has been on effective research and successful project management and delivery.

Non Executive Role

Amy is the founder and Director of her own media company and co-founder and Director of its sister music company.


Sylvie Pierce, Director

Sylvie PierceSylvie specialises in helping to put together unusual deals with a range of stakeholders; putting residents at the heart of service delivery and commissioning outstanding buildings that meet service and community need.

In 2000, she set up a new regeneration company and later, Building Better Health, an award winning property development company, covering 12 London Boroughs.

Sylvie is Chair of Governors at Mossbourne Community Academy.

Sylvie had a successful career in local government; becoming chief executive in two local authorities: Reading and Tower Hamlets.

 

Sarah Ebanja

Sylvie Pierce Sarah Ebanja specialises in providing a range of project management, strategy development, facilitation and coaching services that draw upon her 20 plus years' of experience as a senior officer in London’s local and regional government.

Sarah spent four years as the deputy chief executive of the London Development Agency and one year as a director at the Government Office for London. At a local level, Sarah’s roles have included deputy chief executive of Islington Council, interim managing director of Hackney Council and assistant director of Education & Finance at Lewisham Council.

Whilst at Islington, Sarah spent five years as the Council’s lead for the new Arsenal Stadium and its related developments, whereby a driving force was the need to secure significant social & economic benefits for the area.

Sarah is currently Chair of a 7,000 home housing and care group based in north and east London and is vice-chair of a specialist provider of homes for the homeless which is based in east London. Sarah also chairs a music and theatre venue in Tottenham in north London, and is a trustee of two relatively new not-for-profit organisations that support, nurture and develop young people aged 16 to 24. From 2006 to 2010, Sarah was Chair of the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. 

Sarah is also a member of the RSA Board of Trustees (Treasurer).


David Bowler

David is a Director of VINCI PLC, the Severn Bridge, Newport SDR, Newport Unlimited and is also a special advisor to Barclays Capital.
